    Tracy Morgan was recently in a terrible car accident. The comedian/actor was involved in a multi-car crash leaving one person dead and Tracy in critical condition. While traveling home on the New Jersey Turnpike from a tour date in Delaware, a truck collided with Morgan's chauffeured SUV. Tracy suffered a broken femur, broken nose, and several broken ribs. Fellow comedian James McNair, who was traveling with Tracy, was killed. Two other passengers in the car were also seriously injured.

    In 2002, Kanye West was injured in a car accident after he left a studio at 3 a.m. in West Hollywood. Kanye ended up in the hospital with a broken jaw, which was wired shut. His song "Through the Wire" was inspired by the horrible accident.

    They say cats have nine lives, but maybe 50 Cent does too. In 2000, the rapper was shot nine times while sitting in a car in front of his grandmother's house in Queens, New York. After he recovered, he released a mixtape called Guess Who's Back.

    Last year, Lil Wayne was rushed to the hospital after he suffered some scary seizures. Some reports say it was sizzurp that caused the health scare, while others including Birdman and Mack Maine say it was just hard work. Either way, the rapper thanked the fans for their love and support and promised that he was OK.

    Lil Wayne isn't the only rapper who's experienced seizures. Rick Ross suffered two in one day. The scariest part? He was in the air, flying on his private jet on a trip from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Memphis, Tennessee. The Boss says his seizures were the result of a lack of sleep, dehydration, and a poor diet.

    Last year, 2 Chainz was almost robbed and was shot at in the process while in San Francisco.

    Last year, Kelly Rowland almost ended up lost at sea! The singer was on a whale-watching cruise off the coast of Provincetown, Massachusetts with a few friends when they lost sight of the boat they were following. With barely any cell phone service at all, they managed to call for help and the coast guard sent a towboat to bring them back. She told PEOPLE magazine she was thinking, "Please let us get to shore in one safe, sound piece. I just want to see tomorrow."

    Several years ago, Serena Williams' life and tennis career were in serious jeopardy. Doctors had discovered a dangerous blood clot in her lung after she had difficulty breathing, and underwent emergency surgery.

    Back in 2001, The Game was shot five times in Compton after a drug deal went south. The injuries put him into a three-day coma following the incident! The horrible event helped the rapper realize he needed to turn his life around, and after he recovered, he began seriously focusing on his rap career.

    In 2011, Sean Kingston spent his Memorial Day Weekend in the hospital. While on his jet ski, he and his friend crashed into the side of a bridge. Sean suffered a torn aorta, broken jaw, fractured wrist, and water in his lungs, which left him in the ICU for 10 days.

    In 2007, Eminem ended up in the hospital after he accidentally overdosed on drugs. In a documentary How to Make Money Selling Drugs, Eminem recalls the horrible incident, "Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died. My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis, they didn't think I was gonna make it."

    Jason Derulo is known for his dance skills, but in 2012 he fractured his neck trying out a difficult move. The singer landed on his head and the accident could have left him paralyzed or worse. While he recovered, Jason wore a neck brace for a several months.

    In the late '90s, Martin Lawrence was left in critical condition after suffering heat stroke. According to CNN, he was out for a jog one summer wearing multiple layers of clothing, and was found by his girlfriend in front of his house with a temperature of 107 degrees! The actor even slipped into a coma for several days.

    Timbaland is no stranger to near-death experiences, and has suffered two in his lifetime. In 1986, when he was only 15, he was partially paralyzed for nine months after being shot. In 1991, the producer was involved in a terrible accident after he hit a patch of black ice while driving and crashed into a tree. Thankfully Timbaland survived, but a passenger riding with him didn't make it.

    Lloyd Banks was shot twice in 2001 while leaving a club in Queens, New York. He was shot in his back and stomach, and ended up in a nearby hospital.

    In 2006, Cassidy was involved in a car accident while riding as a passenger in an SUV when their car hit a U-Haul truck. Cassidy suffered a fractured skull, several broken bones on the left side of his face, temporary brain damage, and was in a coma for a week.

    Raz B ended up in a coma after he tried to break up a fight in a nightclub while in China. According to reports, he was on life-support and breathing with the help of a ventilator in a Chinese hospital. During the incident he suffered face lacerations, received multiple stitches, and underwent minor facial surgery. But this wasn't Raz B's only brush with death. In 2012, he tripped and fell through a glass door while at a Shanghai hotel. He seriously injured his wrist, damaging nerves, tendons, ligaments, with his bone exposed.
